Now is the time to be planning for all those winter events. Our range of cakes are available for order all year round especially the lighter fruit cakes such as Genoa, Stem Ginger and Dundee and the dark rich fruit cakes, iced & plain for Christmas. Contact your nearest U.K. Lions Club for further details. After extensive trials, a fruit cake suitable for diabetics as part of a healthy eating plan was launched in April 2004. Two versions can be had with or without flaked almond topping. We think, because of the many enquiries received from members of the public, that such a cake will be a real aid to fund raising and of great support to those Lion Clubs involved with the 'Diabetes Education Programme'. A 'loaf shaped' Date & Walnut Cake has been added to our range of cakes.

The Worthing Festival, organised by Worthing Lions Club, may be just the opportunity for you to have a 'shop window' on the sea-front free of charge. This year we had 64 charities & other worthy causes participating raising the collective sum of £10,500. In 2010 the free Charity Market takes place on Sunday 25th July.
